Understanding the Labour Codes (Part IV of a V Part Series)

The Central Government has notified the four Labour Codes, which came into effect on 21 November 2025, marking a significant shift in India’s labour law framework. These changes have direct implications for non-profit organisations.

Part IV examines the Industrial Relations Code, 2020, further exploring whether and when not-for-profit organisations may fall within the definition of an “industry” under the new framework.
